Bodywork and paint in Newton Abbot

Accident and cosmetic repairs, welding and paint, done by Mark in our own spray booth.

Bodywork start dates depend on what's in the booth. Send Mark a few photos for a quote and he'll give you a realistic date.

Mark runs the bodyshop side of RPM. He repairs the damage, preps the panel and paints it himself in our spray booth at Milber Trading Estate, so you talk to the person doing the job.

What Mark does

  • Accident repair – dents, creases and damaged panels, repaired or replaced and painted
  • Cosmetic repairs – scratches, scuffs, stone chips and car-park dents
  • Bumper scuffs and scrapes
  • Panel resprays – single panels or several, in solid, metallic or pearl paint
  • Hard tops, roofs, bumpers and full resprays
  • Welding – rust repairs and new metal let in
  • Alloy wheel painting: a fresh colour or a tidy-up respray in our booth

The spray booth

Painting in a proper booth keeps dust and dirt off the fresh paint, and the lighting shows up flaws before the car goes back to you. It's also why we can take on anything from a wing mirror cover to a van panel.

Questions we get asked

Can you match my paint colour?

Paint is matched to your car's colour code and blended into the neighbouring panels where needed, so the repair doesn't stand out. Metallic and pearl paints take a bit more work, and the estimator allows for that.

Should I claim on my insurance?

That's up to you. For smaller jobs, some people prefer to get a private quote first and compare it with their excess. Send Mark photos and he'll give you a price.

Can I get a mechanical job done at the same time?

Yes. Russ can service or repair the car while it's in for bodywork, which saves you a second trip.

How soon can you start, and how long will it take?

Bodywork start dates depend on what's in the booth, and how long it takes depends on the job and paint curing time. Send Mark a few photos for a quote and he'll give you a realistic date.
